🎥 Import diagrams from PowerPoint or Excel

Importing diagrams into Juristic is one of the fastest ways to get started with the platform. Instead of redrawing group charts, cap tables, or governance diagrams from scratch, you can bring existing material into Juristic and instantly make it interactive, editable, and ready to share.

💡Once imported into Juristic, those static diagrams become living tools: you can add entities, update relationships, attach documents, and export to client-ready formats.

Importing diagrams

Importing diagrams into Juristic is one of the fastest ways to get started with the platform. Instead of redrawing group charts, cap tables, or governance diagrams from scratch, you can bring existing material into Juristic and instantly make it interactive, editable, and ready to share.

So what makes importing into Juristic best-in-class?
  • You can import diagrams from PowerPoint and instantly convert them into editable Juristic charts. Juristic will even prompt you to convert specific figures into Juristic elements.
  • You can upload Excel templates or cap tables, and Juristic will automatically generate entities and ownership links. Please be aware that you need to use a format that Juristic knows, either through
  • You can refine imported diagrams with colours, styles, and attached documents, turning them into deliverables rather than simple images.

How to import

  1. Inside the Structure tool, select Import from the toolbar. Juristic supports several file types:
    1. PowerPoint – converts existing diagrams into editable Juristic entities and relationships.
    2. Excel templates or cap tables – generates structures automatically, with ownership percentages and shareholder data.
  2. Click Upload and select your file. The system will process it and reconstruct the diagram directly in the canvas.
    1. A PowerPoint import rebuilds your slides into editable Juristic charts.
    2. An Excel import creates entities and relationships directly from the data.

Once the diagram appears, review it for accuracy. You can:
  • Rename entities and adjust their details.
  • Change colours or styles to match your presentation needs.
  • Add or edit relationships (ownership, agreements, dotted lines).
  • Attach supporting documents like shareholder agreements or registration extracts.

From this point forward, it becomes part of your Juristic workspace. You can collaborate with colleagues in real time, share with clients under defined permission sets, or export to other formats.
