🎥 Create your first Timeline events
Adding Timeline events is easy - all you have to do is to click the '+' button in the middle of the screen. Watch this video to see how, or read below.
đź’ˇ You can also create events by uploading documentation directly. Read more here.
Adding Your First Event
You can create events in Juristic Timeline in just a few steps:
-
Click Add Event (the big plus button)
-
Enter a title – this is the only required field
-
Add optional details to make the event more useful:
-
Date and time (e.g. 10:00 AM meeting) -If no date is set, the event will appear at the top of the timeline as “unscheduled” until you update it
-
Description to capture the context (e.g. “Client was satisfied and provided documentation”)
-
Internal notes, which remain private and won’t appear on the shared timeline or in exports unless you choose
-
People such as colleagues or clients – Juristic recognises these as linked entities, not just plain text
-
Managing and Editing Events
đź’ˇ Tag people early so you can filter or search for events when needed.
Once an event is added, you can manage it directly from the timeline view:
-
Edit details at any time by opening the event card - or quick-edit by clicking the title or the description of an event card.
-
Switch views if you want to see your events differently (for example, a broader overview versus detailed entries)
-
Track unscheduled events, which remain clearly flagged in the beginning of the timeline until you assign them a date
