📖 Sharing & collaboration

Collaboration has always been at the heart of Juristic. From the very beginning, one of our core value propositions was to make it easy for lawyers and advisors to work together both internally and with external stakeholders.

Today, the platform offers several different ways to collaborate, depending on your needs:

  1. Sharing individual workspaces with external clients or stakeholders

  2. Sharing workspaces internally among team members

  3. Inviting team members to Groups or Cases

Sharing with External Clients or Stakeholders

Juristic Flow has additional sharing settings with permission sets. Watch a guide here.

Juristic makes it simple to share workspaces with people outside your organisation. To do this, open the Collaboration Menu in the top right corner by clicking Share, and select External.

You will then see a window called Share your workspace, where you provide a few details about the external stakeholder:

  • First name and last name

  • Email address, which will be used to send them the access link

  • Telephone number, which is used to send them their password by text message

  • Permission to edit, which you can check if you want to allow them to make changes in the workspace

Once completed, the external stakeholder will receive an email with the link and a text message with their password. With these credentials, they can create a Juristic user and gain access to the specific workspace you shared.

Sharing with Internal Team Members

If you want to share your work with colleagues, you can do so directly from Juristic without leaving the platform. Click Share in the Collaboration Menu, select Internal, and choose the relevant team member from the People dropdown list. You can also add a comment or note before clicking Share.

Your colleague will then receive an email with a direct link to the workspace you shared.

There are two important points to keep in mind:

  • If your colleague does not already have access to the Group or Case connected to the timeline, Juristic will automatically assign them access as a Member.

  • If the person does not yet have a Juristic account, you will need to allocate them a licence before they can use the platform.

Inviting Team Members to Groups or Cases

Beyond sharing individual timelines or whiteboards, you can also invite colleagues directly into Groups or Cases. This makes collaboration easier across entire matters rather than individual workspaces.
