Guide to columns in Juristic Flow

When creating a new board in Juristic Flow, you can select and customise columns based on the specific needs of your project. In this article and video you'll see examples of adding the Status, People, and Text columns to streamline your project.

How to add columns: 


  • Locate the "+" Icon

    • Look for the "+" symbol on the right side of your board (above or next to the existing columns).
  • Click on the "+" Icon

    • Clicking the "+" icon will open the Column Centre.
  • Choose a Column Type

    • Select the type of column you want to add (e.g., Text, Status, Date, etc.). Each type has a unique function to fit your needs.
  • Name Your Column (Optional)

    • Once added, you can rename the column by clicking on the column header.
  • Start Using Your Column

    • Input data or drag content into the new column to integrate it into your workflow.


 

Overview of column types

  1. Status
    Track the progress of tasks with clear indicators like "In Progress," "Completed," or "Pending Review."
    Tip: Use this to get an instant overview of project health.

  2. People
    Assign tasks to team members for collaborative work.
    Tip: Quickly allocate responsibilities and keep everyone informed.

  3. Text
    Add concise notes or comments to tasks.
    Tip: Perfect for capturing quick ideas or brief instructions.

  4. Numbers
    Record numerical data such as costs, hours, or other metrics.
    Tip: Ideal for budget tracking or monitoring KPIs.

  5. Dates
    Set deadlines or schedule events.
    Tip: Keep your team on track with clear, visible timelines.

  6. Timelines
    Visualise the duration of a task or project phase.
    Tip: Use this for a bird's-eye view of task dependencies and scheduling.

  7. Checkboxes
    Use checkboxes to mark items as completed.
    Tip: Keep track of subtasks or simple workflows.

  8. Time Tracking
    Record time spent on specific tasks.
    Tip: Essential for billing or tracking productivity.

  9. Time of Day
    Specify exact hours for task completion.
    Tip: Use this for meetings, deadlines, or time-sensitive tasks.

  10. Long Text
    Add detailed notes or comments.
    Tip: Use this for comprehensive documentation or explanations.

  11. Links
    Attach relevant URLs to tasks.

  12. Files
    Upload documents or images directly.
    Tip: Centralise task-related materials for easier access.

  13. Dropdown
    Add pre-set options to standardise task categories.

  14. Labels
    Assign tags to categorise tasks efficiently.

  15. Country
    Assign a country to tasks for international projects.
    Tip: Perfect for cross-border legal work or compliance tracking.

  16. Priority
    Indicate the urgency or importance of tasks.
    Tip: Ensure that critical tasks are addressed first.

  17. Latest Comment
    View the most recent note or update on a task.
    Tip: Quickly catch up on task progress or changes.

  18. Last Updated
    Monitor when a task was last modified.
    Tip: Keep track of active or stagnant tasks.
