Importing group charts from international company registers

One of Juristic’s standout features is the ability to import and create editable group/company charts directly from multiple international company registers. This feature streamlines the drafting process by automatically building the chart.

Steps to import a group chart

  1. Access the company register import function

    • Click on the “Import from company register” button within your workspace.
  2. Search for the company

    • Enter either the company name or its registration number in the search bar, then press enter.
  3. Automatic chart creation

    • Juristic will handle the rest, generating an editable group chart based on the retrieved company data.

Tips for multiple imports

  • Merging connected charts: If you perform additional imports of related entities, Juristic will automatically merge these group charts into one whiteboard if they are connected by legal ownership. This gives you a complete, consolidated view of the entire organisational structure.

Using the company register import functionality allows you to quickly visualise complex structures, enhancing both speed and accuracy in your legal drafting.

Important note on ownership data

  • Upwards look-ups: Juristic’s cross-border look-up functionality is currently limited to ownership data in an upwards direction (e.g., parent companies). This means users can view parent entities across borders where data is available.
  • Limitations for subsidiaries: Due to differences in international company registers, Juristic cannot retrieve cross-border data for subsidiaries.
How to perform a cross-border look-up
  1. Use the company register import feature as you normally would.
  2. Enter the company name or registration number for an upwards search.
  3. Juristic will pull data from multiple sources if the parent entity is available in those registers
