🎥 Sharing and permission sets in Flow

Collaboration is at the heart of Juristic Flow. Whether you need to share a task board internally with colleagues or externally with clients and stakeholders, the platform gives you flexible options to control access. This guide explains how sharing works and how to manage permissions effectively.

How to Share a Task Board

  1. Click Share in the top-right corner of your task board

  2. Choose whether to share internally (within your organisation) or externally (with clients or external stakeholders)

Both options ensure secure access, but external sharing comes with additional controls.

Using Permission Sets

When sharing externally, Juristic Flow introduces Permission Sets. These define exactly what each stakeholder can see or do.

  • Click the Permission Sets key to view or create permission sets

  • You can create a new set by clicking the plus sign and giving it a name

  • Within each set, you can define permissions such as:

    • Which tasks are visible (e.g. Task 1.2, 1.3, and 1.4)

    • Whether the stakeholder can view only or edit a task

    • Global options like permit to edit all tasks or permit to view all tasks

Adding External Stakeholders

  1. Select the permission set you want to share with

  2. Add the individuals to the permission set

  3. By default, external users cannot see anything until you explicitly grant access

  4. Once saved, external stakeholders will only see and edit the tasks you’ve defined

Key Takeaways

  • Sharing is simple: use the Share button to invite internal or external users

  • Permission Sets give you granular control over what external stakeholders can see or edit

  • Clients only gain access to the specific tasks you allow, keeping sensitive work internal

  • Default settings are restrictive, ensuring you remain in full control until you choose otherwise

By using sharing and permission sets, Juristic Flow enables secure collaboration with clients while protecting your internal processes.
