Add the firm's slides to PowerPoint exports
The firm's standard slides, organised by practice area, offered under Include slide packs in every structure export.
Screenshots are taken from the app on every release. Updated 13 October 2026.
A group chart rarely leaves the firm on its own. The deck for the board of Beta Holding A/S needs the firm's disclaimer, the tax team's page on its assumptions, the team slide with the partner's photo. Rather than every lawyer pasting those slides in after each export, you upload them once as slide packs. Lawyers then tick the packs they need when they export a structure to PowerPoint, and the slides arrive in the right place in the deck.
This is for an organisation admin, marketing or practice support. You need access to Structure: the slide packs only show on the page when you have it.
Two questions decide how you set the packs up. Which practice areas use which slides? And does a pack belong before the chart or after it?
Open the slide packs
Open Admin panel from your user menu, and under Templates choose PowerPoint.
Under Manage PowerPoint Slide Packs, click Manage beside Slide packs. The row shows the first few packs already uploaded, or No slide packs found.
Sort the packs by practice area
Click Create Practice Area, give it a Name such as "Tax" or "M&A", and click Create. Open a practice area and create another inside it if a team needs its own sub-folder.
Lawyers see the packs grouped under the same practice areas when they export, so a tax lawyer finds the tax slides without scrolling past everyone else's. Packs with no practice area are listed under Ungrouped slide packs.
Upload a slide pack
Open the practice area the pack belongs in and click Add Slide pack.
Give it a Title that tells a lawyer what the slides are, such as "Disclaimer, English" or "Tax team". Under Slide pack description, say when to use it; lawyers see the description when they hover over the pack in the export. If you opened the form outside a practice area, choose one under Practice Area.
Click Upload Slide Pack and choose the .pptx file, or drop the file onto the form. The file must contain only the slides of this pack, in the firm's PowerPoint template. Click Show to look through it before you save.
Under Default placement, choose Beginning or End. This is where the pack lands in the deck when a lawyer ticks it: a cover page or an executive summary at the Beginning, a disclaimer or the team's contact page at the End. It does not lock the pack there; the lawyer can drag it elsewhere in the export.
Click Save. The pack appears as a card showing its placement.
| Kind of slides | Default placement | Practice area |
|---|---|---|
| Cover page, agenda | Beginning | the team that presents with it |
| Executive summary of a standard opinion | Beginning | the practice that writes it |
| Disclaimer, limitations of the advice | End | none, if every team uses it |
| Team page, contact details | End | the team it shows |
Choose the split slide
At the end of a deck, a split slide separates the structure's own slides from the slide packs that follow, so the reader sees where the chart ends and the firm's standard material begins.
- Open the pack that should divide the deck and tick Set as split slide, then Save. Its card is marked Splitter.
Only one pack can be the split slide. If another pack already is, Juristic asks you to confirm with Set as splitter, and the old one becomes a regular pack again. With no split slide chosen, Juristic uses the firm's introduction slide in that place. The split slide is not offered to lawyers as a pack of its own.
Change or remove a pack
- To edit a pack's title, description, practice area, placement or split slide setting, click its card, make the change and click Save.
- To remove a pack, click its card and then Delete.
- To rename or delete a practice area, use the pencil or the bin on its card. Deleting a practice area also deletes every slide pack inside it, and Juristic tells you how many before you confirm.
- To bring in a new version of the slides, upload it as a new pack, then delete the old one. The file of an uploaded pack cannot be swapped.
Every upload, change and deletion here applies to all users in the organisation.
How lawyers use them
When a lawyer exports a structure with Customised export, they tick Include slide packs, add the packs they need from each practice area and drag them into order under Slide pack export order, around Exported slides, which stands for the structure itself. The full steps are in send the structure as an editable PowerPoint.
Tips from practice
- Name packs for the lawyer, not the file. "Disclaimer, English" says more in a long list than "Appendix_v3_final".
- Keep each pack to one purpose. A disclaimer and a team page in one file means the lawyer who needs one gets both.
- Prepare the slides in the firm's template. Packs are added to the deck as they are, so slides in another template stand out next to the chart.
- One owner for the packs. Marketing or practice support keeps them current; when a disclaimer changes, one upload fixes it for every deck from then on.
