Sign in to Juristic in Word and PowerPoint
The add-in signed in and ready the first time you open it.

Your IT team has put the Juristic add-ins into Word and PowerPoint, and you want to use them on a document or a client deck. The first time you open an add-in, you sign in with your Juristic account, the same one you use in the browser. After that the add-in knows who you are and shows the matters, structures and templates you have access to.
If you cannot see the add-in at all, it has not reached your Office yet: ask your IT team, and point them to roll out the Word and PowerPoint add-ins.
Sign in to the Word add-in
Open a document in Word and click Juristic Assistant on the Home tab. The add-in opens beside the document.
If you are not signed in, the sign-in window opens by itself. If it does not, click Sign in to continue.
Sign in in the window the way you sign in to Juristic in the browser. The window closes and the add-in opens on your account.
Sign in to the PowerPoint add-in
Open a presentation in PowerPoint and click Structures in the Juristic group on the Home tab. The Juristic pane opens beside the deck.
Click Sign in with Juristic. The button shows Waiting for sign-in… while the window is open.
Sign in in the window the way you sign in to Juristic in the browser. The pane opens on your structures.
To sign in as someone else, click Use another account instead of Sign in with Juristic. To sign out, open Settings in the pane and click Sign out.
If sign-in does not work
The PowerPoint add-in tells you what went wrong. These are the messages and what to do:

| Update Office to use Juristic | Install the latest Office updates, or use PowerPoint on the web. |
| This add-in is for PowerPoint | You have opened the add-in in another Office app. Open a presentation in PowerPoint. |
| The add-in is not configured | The deployment needs checking. Ask your IT team. |
| You are offline | PowerPoint keeps working. Juristic's features come back when you reconnect. |
In Word, if the sign-in window closes without signing you in, click Sign in to continue to try again.
Tips from practice
- Sign in to the web app first. If you have never signed in to Juristic in the browser, do that once before you open the add-ins. It sets up your account and avoids the "no account found" message.
- Allow pop-ups. Sign-in happens in a separate window, and a strict pop-up setting in Office blocks it.
- Signed in as the wrong person? In PowerPoint, open Settings, click Sign out, and sign in again with Use another account, so the window asks you to sign in afresh instead of reusing the last account.
Once you are signed in, review a contract in Word with JuristIQ or keep structure slides in a client deck up to date.
