Put the firm's logo and colours on Juristic
The firm's logo in the app and on Word exports, and its colour palette in every colour picker.
Screenshots are taken from the app on every release. Updated 13 October 2026.
When a lawyer sends a structure chart to a client or drops a chronology into a memo, it should look like it came from your firm. As an admin, you set this up once for everyone: the firm's logo, and the firm's colours as the swatches every colour picker offers. Marketing or the knowledge team usually has both to hand.
Two questions decide the setup. Do you have the logo as a PNG or JPG file? And which colours does the house style allow for charts, tags and labels?
Upload the firm's logo
Open the Admin panel from the bottom of the navigation sidebar and go to General.
In the Organisation card, click Change logo.
Drag the logo into the Upload Organisation Logo window, or click to browse for it. It must be a PNG or JPG file. Check the preview, then click Upload. The page reloads with the new logo.
The logo shows in the navigation sidebar and in the Admin panel. On Word exports of a structure chart or of slides, it replaces Juristic's logo. Without a logo of your own, those exports carry Juristic's.
The Organisation name and CVR number on the same card are set by Juristic. If they are wrong, ask Juristic support to change them.
Set the firm's colour palette
Go to Branding. Colour palette shows the firm's colours. If it says No colours configured, everyone picks from Juristic's standard swatches today. Click Edit.
In Organisation Colour Palette, add the house colours. Type a hex code in the field after the colours, such as
1a3c6e: the colour is added as soon as all six characters are in. To add several at once, paste them separated by commas and press Enter. + Add New Colour adds a white swatch and opens the Colour Editor, where you pick the colour by eye.Click a colour to adjust it in the Colour Editor, and click the cross on a colour to remove it. Remove the colours that are not in the house style, so no one picks them by accident.
Click Save. The page reloads with the new palette.
Where the palette appears
The palette takes the place of Juristic's standard swatches wherever someone picks a colour:
| Where | What the colours are used for |
|---|---|
| Structure | Fill, borders and text of elements, and the lines between them |
| Timeline | Events, tags and swimlanes |
| Flow | Labels, dropdown options and task groups on boards, and the charts on dashboards |
| Admin panel | The colour choices in the firm's export templates and tool defaults |
Colours already picked on a chart, a timeline or a board stay as they are: the palette changes what people pick from next. Dashboard charts are the exception. They take their colours from the palette, so they change straight away.
Tips from practice
- Use a compact version of the logo. In the sidebar it sits in a small square, where a long wordmark shrinks to a line. A PNG with a transparent background avoids a white box around it.
- Order the colours as the brand guide does. Charts on dashboards take the palette's colours in order, so put the main brand colour first and the accents after.
- Keep the palette short. Eight to twelve colours cover parties, issues and statuses. A long palette means lawyers pick near-identical shades and the charts lose their meaning.
- Then set the defaults. With the palette in place, give new structure elements the firm's look and add the firm's slides to PowerPoint exports.
